Happy Birthday Renee

I got the JOB!!!! and Tyler got his second TOOTH!!!!

WOO HOO!!!!! Its all in the title and I am very excited!!!!

First Tooth

Tyler got his first tooth on Saturday ...Laverne was rubbing his gums on Friday night and said that he was going to have a tooth by Saturday and she was right!!! And the strangest thing is that he got his top eye tooth which is the first tooth that Ryan got and that Lee got as well...So weird!

This weekend we did not do to much at all. We spend a lot of time out to Lees moms. His sister was admitted to the hospital last Wednesday. She was really sick. They did every test there is to do and nothing showed so doctors do not really know what is going on...We have all been really worried and not beening there and just having to wait for a phone call for an update makes everything so much harder but she was discharged yesterday and starting to feel a little better so that is a good thing but she has to go back in for more test this week.....Laverne and I tried to tackle the mall for xmas shopping on Saturday and we were mesmerized and left after 45 minutes.... I hate shopping in crowds I cannot think.. So we are going to try to get out on a weekday and tackle it some more... I can't believe christmas is so close and I feel like I have nothing done:(

Well it was quite the weekend weather wise....up to 15 degrees in the middle of November....we were out in just a t-shirt and I saw some people in shorts!!!! But we are back to the cold now and I think it is here to stay....

And for the week ahead........ Lots to do ...phone interview tomorrow and expecting to hear from that other job from last week... keeping my fingers crossed!!!! I will keep you all posted :) Keep your fingers crossed for me and keep Erica in your prayers!! Bye for Now:)

UPDATE

Well...I have not been blogging in forever..... I have been so busy with the kids and appointments, and this and that the past week that I have had no time for the computer.....Well I guess that there has been nothing real exciting going on anyway just the same ole same ole...Actually!!!!! I did get some exciting news.....My SISTER is coming up at xmas time. I am so excited.. her and her boyfriend Tawfieg is leaving on the 27th and coming up for New years and they might be bringing my dad too!!! Yeah ....We decided that Christmas was not going to be a good time for us to go home this year and I was kinda down over it ... but then she told me the news and I am sooo happy.

I have been doing a bit of job hunting and have had a few interviews this week......I don't want to go back to the job that I had and I only have four months maternity leave left so I thought it would be a good idea to get a head start and apply to any interesting position I see. I am waiting to hear back from a really interesting position that is perfect for me...it is partime leading in to full time next year so it would work out great!! I am hoping to get so everyone keep their fingers crossed for me please:)... I should hear back from the company next week ... I hate waiting!!!

And ....... other than that nothing new happening !!!

Another Milestone yet again!!!!!

Tyler finally rolls over all by himself!!!!! He been rolling over from his back to his front for a while now but needed our help to get the whole way over but he finally did it with no help on Saturday over to Aunt Evers and now you just cannot stop him.... lol..

So Hard Saying Good-bye

Ohh My.... so loney today...My mom is gone:( We left on Friday and went to Turo to my Aunt Eve's. That is were my grand mother was staying and her and mom were getting the bus back to North Sidney to get the ferry to Newfoundland on Saturday. We decided to go over on Friday evening so nan would get to spend a bit of time with me and the boys before they headed back......Well it was quite the trip over..... the boat from PEI to Nova Scotia was very rocky and I am not a boat person and ewwww it made me sick. So that was a hour and 15 minutes of torture and then we took the wrong exit to Aunt Eve's hahahah... we were lost for close to 45 minutes driving in circles and getting a little nervous but after getting directions from three different people, driving through the town with my high beam lights on and getting yelled at by people we found our way out .....I knew mom was a little nervous and I have to admit so was I but all I could do was laugh... I spent the 45 minutes busting out laughing and mom was trying to be serious and get us out of there but there was no way that she could keep a straight face either... so that was another laugh of our many we encounter on her trip....... Definatily never topped the Zellers incident but was a good one hey Mom. lol......

Saturday was the dreaded Good - bye day!!!! I hate them... I hate saying good bye ... especially to my mom...I am not only saying good bye to my mom I am saying good bye to my best friend and it sucks:( ...... We have such a great time together and I cherish every moment and I know that she has to go back I just hate seeing her go.....It takes me a few days to get use to her not beeing here and getting back to my normal routine. And Ryan he is lost without her and I am pretty sure Tyler found it different without her being here to....That is the hardest thing about living away from home.... no beening near the people you are so close to... I am forutnate that we have Lees mom and dad here!!!

I really wish that my dad had got the chance to come up too... I know how much he misses the boys but I am definatily getting home sometime this xmas before my maternity leave ends to spend some time with them.....

So Saturday Laverne came back from NL ..... we picked her up at the bus station in Turo and we left to drive back to PEI taking the bridge this time because it was windy and I could not handle that boat for another trip....It was a beautiful day/evening and it took us no time to get home....We stayed out to Lavernes for a bit and Ryan wanted to stay out all night so I finally got to sleep in later than 7:30 yesterday morning and it was great......Yesterday we did not do to much... went out to get Ryan and I took him swimming and he got his first Progress Report and did really well....I attached a picture of it and if it is not to clear here is what it says:

"Hey Ryan! You are really great at playing water-soccer!! It is really great to see that you are getting more comfortable in the water! Your bubble blowing is super! Keep up the good work!!

....he was so proud of that card... he was sitting in his car seat looking at it and reading it out to me... " You did good blowing bubbles and playing water soccer and you did really good Ryan.... and then he looks up and says "Thank you for taking me swimming Mommy" and I said ..."thank you for taking me swimming Ryan and he goes " No Problem Mommy" God he is soooo cute!!!!!

Happy Halloween

Well the boys had a blast today!!!!! Last night we made some halloween cupcakes and carved our pumpkins.....Ryan went to daycare this morning and they had a halloween party and he was so excited to go. He brought his costume and some candy for his friends and we carved a pumpkin to bring as well..... He was so excited to come home with all his treats and couldn't wait to get out trick or treating....He dressed up as a firefighter and Tyler was a baby elephant......Lee stayed home and gave out the treats to the 8 people that we got while mom and I ( dressed as witches) brought them around here and then Lee and I took Ryan out to a few more places until he was tired and wanted to come home.....He had fun dumping out all his treats on the floor and jumping into them and then he had a feed on chips and bars and he is gone to bed now with a full belly and a big smile on his face ...Tyler didn't get to have any treats but was jumping around in his excosaucer and screaming and laughing... here is some pictures (as you can see there is not to many halloween pictures of Ryan ...He decided that he wanted to run away from the camera everytime I told his to say "trick or treat")....I did email some to everyone but for some reason my hotmail will never send any pictures I have to figure out what is going on there......Well I hope everyone had a great halloween and I guess the next event is xmas which is just around the corner :)

A day at the Park

Had a wonderful day today.....We got up this morning and Lee had to go out to his parents place, so me and mom and Ryan and Tyler spent the day out around Charlottetown....On our way to the flea market we seen a man selling pumpkins so we stopped to get a few.......

After that we went to the flea market for a look..... never seen to much there just got a few books and then we took ryan to subway for lunch.......

We went to a park to get some leaves for the witch bag that mom had brought up for the boys and we spent a few hours there playing in the leaves and taking pictures.. here are some of my favorites....

Tonight we are carving our pumpkins and filling up the halloween bags. Post these pictures tomorrow.

Fun and Exciting Week with Nanny (Mom)

We have been having such a great time!!!!! Haven't had time to update this week we have been busy every day. Mom and I have been reorganizing everything here ; basically doing a delayed "spring cleaning"...and having a ton of laughs along the way. We have been out for walks, out to the stores and doing all the things that I have missed doing with my mom so much....I am so glad that she decided to come up a surprise me. On Wednesday night the two of us went out to supper with my aunt Velda and cousin Penney and that was a great time... I was so gald to get to see them and also get to see Penny before she heads off to Australia for 5 months.....Ryan was really sick on Tuesday and I had to take him into the doctor and he was put on antibiotics which is definatily working; he seems to be feeling alot better.....They have been having a blast with nanny and we still have a week left!!!! This weekend we are getting ready for halloween .... we are going to go get leaves tomorrow so we can fill the witch bag that mom brought up and we are going to get some pumpkins to carve for tomorrow night so I will be posting the pictures of our halloween decor tomorrow....

The Man got another Raise

Lee got another raise on this weeks cheque!!!!! WOW ... I am so excited for him. He must really be impressing his boss with his work...he hasn't even completed his first block yet and he has already gotten two raises...Way to go Babe ...I am so proud of you!!!!! :)

Suprise of my Life

Well I was outsmarted and that does not usually happen.... Everytime my mom has planned a surprise for me it has been ruined cause I would always find out....Until last night when she knocked on my door at 12:00 and frightened the life out of me.......I am soooooo excited my mom is here!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had this planned for weeks and I honestily did not have the slightest clue.... Her and dad were coming up for two weeks but dad got called back to work so mom came with my aunt velda and cousin Penney. I was talking to her on the cell phone for the past 2 days thinking that her and dad was just out to the cabin and all along she was travelling... How did she fool me for the 6 hours boat ride? Said her cell was dead and she forgot the charger home and I believed her... and then when she got off the boat she called and said you'll never guess what Gene and Eveilyn were here and they have the same cell as us and I used their charger and I believed her..... funny how Gene and Eveilyn just so happened to bring there charger while visiting mom and dad.... duh??? And whenever I would call her she would put on a good show.... "What are you doing mom?" Oh me and dad are just here watching tv and falling asleep..."What did you do all day"? Oh i was out and the flowers around the cabin and dad is gone to get the moose that they hunted...........Oh my she got me and I am so glad she did.....

And if you can only see Ryan's face when he woke up this morning... He came out with me and Lee sometime last night so when Lee went to work mom went up and got in Ryans bed and when he got up he was like "good morning mommy.... time to get up" and I told him that there was a treat in his room...."A Treat"??? and he got off the bed and ran out to his room and mom yelled out "Trick or Treat" ...... mom said that he jumped back about five feet and his eyes nearily popped out on his cheek..... " Nanny" he yelled "Your here" and he has not left her side since then.

I am so happy mom is here for the next two weeks ... I have been missing her so much lately and really wanted her and dad to see the boys...maternal instinct I guess.... its too bad poppy couldn't come but he said if he can work out some way around the work he will be up... so lets keep our fingers crossed.....

Swimming Lessons with my Daddy

Ryan had lesson 2 of swimming this afternoon and he had a great time splashing around with Daddy..... I managed to get a few pictures in before the lifeguard told me to put the camera away... no pics during lessons ....oops lol.....

Growing UP.......

Tyler is now drinking out of a sippy cup and he loves it... mostily drinking water but will never turn down a little juice.......

Busy Busy week.......

Well its been a busy few days and I have honestily been to sick to update... ummm lets see what have we been up to ..... Me and Lee have been sick with the flu the past few days and it seems that Ryan has caught it again ..Tyler is still a bit congested but he is getting better... he was in to get his 6 months needles today and he is doing really well.. He is 20 lbs ( boxer) and growing like a weed; everything is growing in proportion and he is an extremeily heathily little man.

Well I cleaned the fish tank the other day and poor nemo didn't make it; not sure what happened I guess I put the water a little to warm for the poor feller but when I looked at him he was a floating... So when Lee gets home I tell him that the fish is dead and and I think that I may have killed him when I changed his water, Ryan overhears us talking and runs out and says "let me see mommy" "let me see the fishy" and I explain that the fishy isn't swimming anymore and that he is gone to fishy heaven with the other fishys and he walks away with a pouty little mouth and so sad and says ..."ohhh my fishy is gone away to fishy heaven", and then he turns around and looks at me and changes his tone and says....." and its all your fault mommy"....Oh my god if you could have heard him..... I had to try to keep a straight face until he walked away ...... lol... So later on we had our "Fish Funeral" around the throne and said our good byes to Nemo and then he had to call Nanny and Poppy martin and tell them all about the fish incident and then Nanny gets it in his head that mommy will have to get him another one... so I guess we are back to the fish store this weekend......

Lily is the name that Ryan picked out for the cat... I have been asking him what the kittys name is going to be over the past few days and he says "cat" .. and I explain that yes it is a cat but she needs a name like Ryan has a name.. he is a boy but his name is ryan... tyler is a boy but his name is tyler and so on........So we were sitting on the couch and he finally comes over and says Lily mommy she is Lily... don't know where he heard it or if that is even what he was trying to say but that is what we are sticking with and I like it!!!!

Ryan takes off to daycare now without a hitch..... he knows that he is just going for the day and that I will be back to get him in the afternoon and he has no problem with it any more, which is a huge relief... he seems to enjoy hisself there and he is always bringing home some beautiful crafts and colouring sheets that I have stuck all over the fridge...

We have been decorating for halloween but are trying to put off the pumpkin carving until the weekend seeing how the one that Lee carved for them went to mush in the matter of 4 or 5 days, Ryan is going out as a fire cheif and Tyler is either going to be an elephant or a Frog we have to try them on a see which one fits the best..

We said good bye to Nanny Laverne this morning.. we dropped her off at the bus station as she is off to the rock for a few weeks.... wish I was going with her but with the plans to go home later and xmas just around the corner it is not in the budget.. but we are going to go down and pick her up in North Syndey in a few weeks so she does not have to suffer on the bus both ways... so enjoy you trip nanny and relax you deserve a vacation.. we will miss you and see you in a few weeks....

And finally speaking of going home.... we may have a change in plans for our holidays... we may actually wait and go home in February just before Lee goes to school to do his block. We are thinking that we would have more time to relax and the trip would not be so rushed. We would be able to take more time to spend down there and enjoy it.. go skidooing, go out to my parents cabin and get more than 2 days down in Rocky Harbour/Norris Point with Lees family, and most importantly Nanny and Poppy Martin will have more time with the boys without all the christmas rush......so we are still debating what to do but I will keep all you newfs at home posted.
